I'm still alive, I have the pictures for my next chapter, and I'm heavy with child (haha, just kidding. I am pregnant, but I lost a ton of weight at the beginning and now I'm barely gaining it back. Did you know some women get morning sickness their whole pregnancy? I didn't.). Unfortunately, my computer is having power supply issues so I've been hesitant to run my game. Beyond that, I don't know how much I'll be able to play. I'm considering starting a different legacy, but I have no idea.

Honestly, writing for this legacy takes a lot of time. I'm a very slow writer, and I have to write several drafts for each chapter. I have story notes that are just ridiculous. Beyond that, I find it hard to sit for long periods of time, which is what I tend to do when I play/write. I'm sad to say that I might not be very active anymore (or active at all). The Bees might be on semi-permanent hiatus which blows because I really like them. At this point, I don't want to make any promises--I might be back, but it seems unlikely for now. I have a uterus-turd to poop out in April, a house to renovate by March, and work stuff (as always).

By the way, I'm having a girl and my partner won't let me name her Nova. :\

ETA: Thank you, by the way, for the kind words on my last post. I guess it's TMI, but I was actually diagnosed with pre-natal depression and put on anti-depressants. I'm doing much better now.

  1. Naw. Heavy with child is pretty much right on at any point when you're preggers. It's quite a thing to go through. :)

I'm so glad things are looking up and that you're getting some help. Don't worry about your story if it stresses you. Keep looking after yourself and the little one. You'll make it. *hugs.

  2. Oh no, that morning sickness sounds awful! Atleast you were able to get some help with the antidepressants. Hopefully things will be better for you after you have the baby.

  3. I'm happy to hear from you and know that you are alive and doing better! I agree with Sunny - do what works for you. If the Bees go on hiatus, permanent or not, you do what's best for y'all. *hugs*

  4. Morning sickness during your whole pregnancy sounds really terrible. I can understand that the Bees aren't your first priority right now. Also, don't worry about TMI! I'm just glad you're doing better. *hugs*

I'm sorry your husband won't let you name the baby Nova. (I've actually met a couple of little girls named Nova, it seems to be a trending name where I'm from.) But you'll think of something even better, I'm sure!

Happy new year & happy waiting! :)

  5. Alrighty. I'm going to assume that as you were due in April the Uterus Turd has popped out healthy. Only time will tell if Wealthy and Wise will follow. Though with such a mom I'm betting a love of a good story is already there. Congrats if she has arrived safely. Hope you managed to get your house ready to go and that you, your partner, and non-Nova are doing well. Best of luck to you all. :)

    1. I had my baby girl Regina last month on May 2! Sorry for not posting much sooner. Life has been hectic. I bought a house, renovated it succesfully and then had a baby. :p all is well and I'm doing much better mentally and Regina is healthy and mostly happy (she hates sleeping because babies are kinda dumb and don't know what's good for them). Hopefully I'll get some Sims time soon!

    2. Nah! It's cool. Babies... tend to suck the time out of you. lol. I'm so glad to hear you survived renovation and labor. Now to survive until she learns how awesome sleep is. Regina is a lovely name! *hugs for you all!
